Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast, and a full English among the choices. The room was very comfortable and had an en-suite. We got a warm welcome, and the owners were considerate and couldn't have been more accommodating. I stayed in a family room with my husband and seven-year-old son in February 2025. The location worked perfectly for us, less than a five-minute walk from our daughter's home. It's also well placed for rail and road links, with the town centre a couple of miles away. The Squirrel is a cosy local pub within easy walking distance. This accommodation was excellent value for money.

Martin has been amazing during my work trip this week. He was always ready to help with anything we needed, often without being asked, and was very accommodating around our work schedule. He didn't disappoint. A lovely stay at the Park Lodge Guest House. 10/10 for Martin, and a very big thank you for everything!

The owner, Martin, clearly loves what he does. He went out of his way to greet guests and make the stay a great experience. The guest house is friendly and reasonably priced, and breakfast was great. Rooms are clean and well kept, with comfortable beds. I'd highly recommend it and look forward to staying again.

Breakfast was lovely, with fresh coffee and tea, fruit juice choices, croissants, muffins, a full English, and more. Martin greeted us again when we came down the next morning. The dining room seems to be a very new addition, and it's modern and light, with bi-folding doors opening onto the patio. It'll be lovely in summer. Martin gave us an extremely warm welcome when we arrived at Park Lodge last weekend. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, with a modern en-suite bathroom. I can't rate this B&B highly enough and would happily go back.

Breakfast was served in a gorgeous, bright, sunny room, and Martin made one of the best full English breakfasts I've had. He was a really nice man. The place was clean, fresh, and lovely, with excellent rooms, a spotless bathroom, and a really powerful shower. I'll definitely stay here again. Top marks!
