The baguettes were massive, with tasty chunky chips and a side salad, and the price felt easy on the purse. We’d come over from another village for a walk and stopped in for lunch. It’s a lovely little village pub, and very welcoming to dogs. We even got sausage and cheese from the dog menu. Definitely worth a stop.

We were eight and managed to book a Sunday lunch at short notice. Everyone enjoyed the food at this family-run local pub, and it was tasty without costing too much. They brought extra gravy with a smile and made sure nothing was a bother. Thank you!

The outside looks a little plain when you arrive, but don’t let that put you off. We were well looked after by the staff, and all five of us enjoyed the really good food, with choices for meat eaters and vegetarians. We came for a family gathering to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and we’ll be back!

We felt welcome as soon as we came through the door. My partner and I dropped in for lunch on a Friday, and the steaks were the best we’ve tasted, with food that was absolutely amazing. The service stayed friendly and superb from beginning to end. We’ll be returning, and highly recommend it. Thank you!
