The people managing this lovely place are super friendly, and the setting is picturesque. It’s great for a family stay, with plenty of parking for at least five cars. Some simple maintenance would help: a few light bulbs, the washing machine, a damaged window that didn’t close properly, missing or broken fridge shelves, and an oven that seemed a bit sketchy. The TV in the main lounge is pretty small by modern standards, if that bothers you. The beds are okay, though memory foam toppers could be a nice addition. For a house this size, there could be more crockery and utensils, but at least there’s a dishwasher. There’s no phone signal around the house, so you’re very reliant on the Internet. There is a pay phone in the house if needed.
