We only came in for a drink, and it was truly awful. I can't say what the rooms or food are like. There was a group of women, men, children and babies playing pool and running around, chasing the young children as part of their play. They swore every other word and behaved very badly, though they seemed to belong there. They knew the barmaid, who was pleasant, to be fair. We couldn't finish our drinks and get out quickly enough.

We came for breakfast this morning and were honestly impressed. The vegetarian breakfast was one of the best we've seen, with generous portions and really good flavour. The staff were happy to help, and I've never met a chef as friendly as the chap who was there today. My partner and I wished we lived closer so we could have breakfast here every week. I don't often leave reviews, but this place really stood out.

My room was at the back of the hotel and had beautiful views. I booked a family room, which was large and very clean, and the bathroom was clean too, with a good shower. That's something I really value in a hotel room. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's a good hotel for the price and good value for money. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Wales.

A great little stop if you're in the area. The room was good value, with a bath and shower, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary breakfast pack. The lady who checked us in was very kind and knew the area well. I'd definitely recommend it for a visit.

Angi and Tim were fabulous hosts during our short stay with our two children. The family room worked well for all four of us, and the packed breakfasts were ideal for our early starts. The surroundings are really beautiful and make a lovely base for exploring Snowdonia. We also took a trip on the Ffestiniog railway across the road, which made for a fab day out.
