The sandy beach is just a short walk away, and the tide washes over it every day. It’s much quieter than its neighbour Scarborough, though there’s still plenty to keep a young family happy. Our extended family of 12 had a great stay here. The accommodation was excellent, with even the little details covered to make the visit as enjoyable as possible. Definitely worth a visit.

The house was beautifully clean, with lovely bed linen and towels. Hadeel had thought of everything for guests of all ages, and left a birthday card for my dad plus a tray of cakes as we celebrated his 80th. She also popped round for five minutes to check we had all we needed. Number 12 was perfect for our big group, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms across its three floors. It’s only a couple of minutes’ walk from the bus and train stations, with a handy good sized Tescos nearby. The beach is less than a ten-minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Number 12 for Rally Yorkshire recently and really enjoyed how comfortable the house was and how convenient it was for Filey. We hope to return in 2026 and in the years after.

We spent Christmas in this lovely, well cared for holiday home. The decorations were tasteful and lovely, and we couldn’t fault anything. It was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with thoughtful finishing touches throughout. The owners have thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

The beach was only about a five-minute stroll away, and the owner was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. No.12 holiday house is simply stunning and absolutely immaculate, with an incredible level of attention to detail. It’s the best thought out and best equipped holiday house we’ve stayed in, with everything a family could need and more. We had a really lovely holiday in Filey and can’t recommend it highly enough.
