The Kathrene

The location is beautiful and the sea view is the best. We didn’t actually meet the owners, but we exchanged lots of messages and they replied very quickly. They were really helpful, and the place had everything we needed.

We were so relaxed that we added two extra nights to our Monday-to-Friday break. My partner and I stayed with our two dogs in the ground-floor flat with a sea view, and we could also use the Sun Lounge. There’s on-street parking, and it felt very safe. The flat was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had everything we needed, like home from home. The views were amazing, and the place is close to local amenities. It’s peaceful and away from Blackpool’s hustle and bustle, but near enough for a visit. The welcome was very friendly, and you can tell the owners take pride in the business. Excellent value. We can’t wait to return. Thank you.

The flats are beautiful, clean and well equipped. We’ve stayed with our dog and on our own, and the welcome is always friendly. They’re ready to help whenever you need something. Highly recommend.

The kitchen and bathroom are small, but the flat had everything we needed. It was clean, the owner was pleasant, and dogs are welcome. The Kathrene doesn’t charge extra for a dog, unlike many places. I asked for a ground-floor flat, but was told when booking that it wasn’t available. They said I’d be in flat 3, which I knew from a previous stay. We’ve stayed before and will come again. If stairs are a problem, ask for the ground floor.
