The seafront is only a short walk away, and having parking on site was a real bonus. Our host welcomed us warmly, showed us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay at Sunny Lodge Hotel in Folkestone. The family room was spacious, tidy, clean and comfortable, with excellent bathroom facilities and plenty of room for all of us. Thanks for the warm hospitality and for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back.

I had to cancel at the last minute because of unforeseen circumstances, and Suzanna was fair and accommodating about it. She was incredibly kind and understanding, with excellent communication the whole time. Sunny Bank Guest House is clearly well cared for, and you can tell she puts a lot of effort into making guests’ stays good. I’d recommend booking directly for the best experience, and I hope to stay there in the future.

We had to find a place at the last minute one evening after a problem with our original lodging, and the Sunny Lodge staff were so accommodating to my family, dog included. They welcomed us outside the hotel and were incredibly warm, friendly and understanding about what had happened. Our dog loved everyone and was allowed to roam around as if the place were her own house. There’s an enclosed front garden too, which was ideal for her. We can’t thank the staff enough for helping us that weekend! Five stars to Sunny Lodge!
