We stopped by for a quick Saturday lunch and the food was exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome, even us Americans!!! My wife was especially impressed by the vegan menu. We had Halloumi Fries, Vegan Chicken Nuggets and salt/pepper calamari, and everything was perfect. Thanks for looking after us!

We found this place online while away for a long weekend, and I’m glad we did. The staff were attentive and great fun to chat with, and the food was really good. Everyone agreed it was a great meal when we got home. There’s a lovely atmosphere too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Our pork was appalling this time, which was such a letdown because we’ve eaten here plenty of times before. I booked earlier in the week for Sunday Roast on 17th Oct 25, knowing how busy it gets. There were two adults and two children: two roast pork meals, one kids' pork and one kids' lamb. My pork tasted like Chinese pork and was very overcooked. My grandson’s was so hard it wasn’t edible. We also ordered small drinks for the children, but both came as pints. I would’ve raised it at the time, but we had to leave in a hurry, so I’m leaving a review instead.

I was absolutely starving when I went to the old bath arms, and Michelle recommended the chicken nugget wrap. It was delicious. Five out of five for the food and service.

A small town on a Sunday night, and this place was buzzing. The food was incredible and the service amazing. It has a bit of a throwback feel, in all the best ways. What a find.
