The owners have thought of everything, from a modern kitchen to plenty of TVs and game consoles, and the whole house is equipped to a really high standard. It was better than I expected in every way. I almost never give five stars, but this place earned them. We were lucky to find this hidden gem.

A peaceful, friendly village with a lovely feel to it. Garlieston is a smashing place, and we have a holiday let there through Sykes called Ptarmigan.

There are three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and the place is very well equipped. It’s modern, clean and comfortable, in a lovely quiet setting. There’s no washing machine, but I’d still highly recommend it.
