Lodbourne Farmhouse

Paul and Chez are a lovely, friendly couple. Their welcome feels like being greeted by old friends, and Lodbourne farmhouse is a relaxing place with great facilities and nicely decorated rooms. This was my wife’s and my second stay, and I’m sure we’ll return again. Paul makes a great English breakfast to set you up for the day. I’d recommend this place 100%.

We found this fabulous listed farmhouse tucked right into the village of Gillingham. You can walk if you need to, and there’s free parking on site. Our hosts were so welcoming, Paul’s breakfasts were delicious, and the room was comfortable and well appointed, with a view of the garden. If you want a relaxing home from home, this is the place.

Francesca and Paul are great hosts, and Chef Paul made us a lovely breakfast each morning, with good conversation too. We stayed in the very comfortable Woodland Room, and the off-street parking was a big bonus. We were in town to visit the place where we got married 40 years ago, as well as local family. This is a hidden jewel in Gillingham!

Paul and Francesca gave us such a warm welcome, and their little place is a lovely gem tucked away. The rooms were beautifully decorated, large and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh produce cooked fresh and lots of pots of tea. We’d booked two rooms for family members coming to our wedding, but two couldn’t make it, so we stayed instead and were very impressed. Paul & Sam Cooper, Auntie Kath & Uncle Don.
