The room was clean and spacious for us, though the air vent made it noisy and I didn’t get the best night’s sleep. Everything else was good. I stayed one Saturday night with my child, and the site was clean. The front desk member who checked us in was polite and helpful, though I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name. The housekeepers and other staff were polite too. Sarah was especially helpful and polite. They worked hard and gave great, warm customer service, so I’d recommend staying and would be happy to return. The front bar and dining area are lovely, and breakfast was plentiful and standard. There’s an Asda less than a five-minute walk away. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Sarah was warm and welcoming every time, always with a lovely smile and genuine care. The hotel restaurant has a good variety of food, and the place felt welcoming throughout. My room was clean and spacious, with a very comfortable mattress and useful room-darkening curtains. The location suited my business trip, with a short Uber ride to the train station and ASDA grocery store a short walk away. If I visit this area again, I won’t need to look at other hotels. Thanks, Sarah and team!

The room was quite clean and tidy, but it wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3:30, even though check-in was advertised from 3. We were a little disappointed and had to sit in the lobby and bar for 20 minutes. They didn’t even waive the parking charge, which would have been a nice gesture. This wasn’t one of my better Premier Inn visits, and I’d think twice before staying at this one again.

During my stay of around two or three months, I kept asking for my room to be cleaned, at least once or twice a week, not daily. Each time I was told they’d sort it, but it never got cleaned, even after I asked multiple times, sometimes five. I’ve stayed at many Premier Inn locations, including in major cities, and have never encountered administration and service this unprofessional. If this is the worst hotel in the UK, this has to be it. The Premier Inn brand is generally fine, but I’d strongly advise avoiding this particular branch. You can find cheaper hotels with much better service.

The staff were lovely, and I loved my stay at premier inn Gillingham. I got the best nine hours of luxurious sleep, and both the evening meal and breakfast were tasty. The two-for-£8 drinks were a bonus.
