The beds were comfortable, and we slept peacefully thanks to the location. Now and then a truck or car went by, but it wasn't enough to disturb us. Just outside Girvan, the hotel has excellent facilities, including a small kitchen area with a microwave and fridge stocked with cold meat, milk, butter and essentials for your stay. Everything was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and easy to approach. There's a short walk to the nearby beach. Highly recommended, with reasonable costs.

The continental breakfast provided in each room was impressive, and the whole place was impeccably clean. It's a refreshing way to make for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Guests get clear instructions to help maintain the hotel's high standards, and I felt welcome and part of a well-oiled machine. Everyone working there was attentive, friendly and professional. The owner clearly prioritizes guests and employees. It's quickly apparent that this self-sufficient compound includes a working farm, hotel and equestrian business. My dog was welcomed with open arms, and they asked me to look after her attentively so our stay would fit in with things. There are lovely walks and beachfront nearby. What a comfortable hotel, a class act.

We parked on site, walked the beach and watched stars across the bay, which made our one-night stop great. The room was huge and had everything we could need, plus a sea view and plenty of breakfast provisions. Check-in and checkout were very efficient, and it was great value.

We both felt welcome here, my dog and me. The room was clean, comfortable and nice, and breakfast was good. The beach is just across the road for a walk. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are nice and spacious, and there's a DIY breakfast in the room. Local restaurants can deliver food right to your room. A handy place to stay before taking the ferry to NI the next day, though a bit pricey.
