The breakfast was a real highlight. I chose my meal from the extensive menu the evening before, and it was beautifully prepared and presented. Glenlaird is a charming place in the heart of Drymen, with a calm, homely feel and hosts who were warm and attentive from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had an exceptionally comfortable bed. The whole property is immaculately kept. It’s a lovely peaceful escape or a restful stop while walking the West Highland Way. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The B&B was a real pleasure to stay in for three nights. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the centre of Drymen, and nights were quiet. The location is beautiful, the rooms very clean, and breakfast delicious. The hostesses were welcoming and friendly. I was really impressed and would highly recommend it.

I was making photo books of all the trips my wife and I have taken when a picture of James from our WHW hike stay came up. It reminded me I wanted to come back and leave a review. The place was so clean and breakfast was incredible, but what we enjoyed most was talking with James. He was so kind and took time to tell us about his amazing life. We’re grateful we got to meet him. We stayed on about 5/5/22. Thank you, james!!

The house is spacious and the rooms are clean, with Drymen town only a few minutes away for a few restaurant options. It was such a relaxing stay, both inside the house and around it. The host was friendly and really nice, and the breakfasts were amazing. Totally recommend staying here!

James was a lovely host and gave us helpful tips about the area. The house is only a few years old, so everything still feels completely new, and the bed and bathroom were superb. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Try the pancakes at breakfast on weekdays ;)
