ibis budget Glasgow

We stayed two nights with our nine-year-old daughter for a visit to The Loading Bay skatepark. The area worked well for us since we didn't need the city centre, and there was plenty of parking and places to get food close by. We took a taxi into town for dinner the first evening, though there are nearby options within easy walking distance. The room was fantastic, peaceful, and had an amazing view. The layout was great. My only suggestion would be to add sockets near the head of the bed and by the mirror.

The staff were really friendly, and for one night the room did the job. It was cramped, though, and the shower smelled bad. There wasn't a separate bathroom and toilet, the shower was in the same room. The sheets hadn't been fitted, which was even more awkward with one of the beds being a bunk. You get what you pay for, I suppose. Glad it was only one night, and I wouldn't stay again.

The rooms were clean and did what we needed, and the hotel was affordable and convenient for a place to rest after a day out. It's in a business park with a few spots nearby for a quick bite. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. I accidentally booked a twin room, but they switched us to one with a double bed without any fuss, and lent us a hairdryer for free.

My first stay at an Ibis Budget left a good impression. The room was clean and practical, with a good-sized bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and well located in a leisure park, with lots of facilities right next door. Staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were simple. The main downside was that one of the two guest lifts wasn't working.
