The bathroom was large, very clean and had nice towels. Our twin room was clean too, and the two single beds were really comfortable, though the sleeping area was very small, so it's probably fine for just a night or two. The window was frosted, didn't open, and had no view. The location felt safe, about ten minutes on foot from Central Station and five from Queen Street. It was surprisingly quiet.

It’s an easy place to reach, right in the middle of bars and restaurants, with pretty much everything walkable. The staff were the highlight for me, always friendly and happy to chat. I had some lovely conversations while waiting for my boyfriend to arrive. The bed was really comfortable and the small bathroom had what we needed. Downstairs there’s a bar and restaurant open around the clock, with books, games, TVs and free hot drinks. The nearby parking came with a £9 discount for 24 hours, which helped a lot. The corridors were quiet, and it’s affordable too. We’re already planning to come back.

We felt at ease hanging out in the bar area, and the free hot drinks and pool table were a nice bonus. We didn’t have breakfast there. The rooms were comfortable and had what we needed, and every staff member we met was friendly and professional. The decor had a funny local feel, and our members’ treat was a Tunnocks tea cake and a can of Irn Bru each. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it and come back.

We were very happy with our two-night stay, especially since they let us check in early. The room was comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. We did miss the Tunnock's Tea Cakes that were in the room when we stayed ten years ago, but we found some at a nearby store, so it all worked out.
