Mercure Glasgow City Hotel

The location is excellent, right in the town centre. Our room was on the small side, with nowhere to put our luggage, and the bathroom was a bit dated but clean. We arrived two hours early, but the woman at reception, Joy?, helped arrange an early check in, which was great. She was very helpful and told us about the town's highlights. Rohan was also polite and helpful when he looked after us at the bar. Outstanding service.

Our dietary needs were handled with real care. The team knew what they were doing, took initiative, and offered delicious options that made us feel completely comfortable. Crispy and Anna especially deserve a mention. Everyone was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, checking that things were right while still giving us space. It was a rare mix of professionalism and genuine kindness. A big thank you to the whole team for making our visit such a pleasure. We'll definitely return and recommend the place to others.

It was an amazing one night stay, and I'll definitely be back. Abbey checked me in, was really friendly, and helped when I got stuck with the parking. Matthew handled checkout and was lovely and professional. My room was spotless, so thanks to Cheeky, who cleaned it. I asked reception who had done the cleaning so I could give them a special mention.

Joy, Mohamed Haris and Vansh made our visit feel personal and memorable. The whole team was warm, welcoming and genuinely kind, with a lovely mix of professionalism and friendliness. Thanks to everyone at Mercure Glasgow City Hotel for such an enjoyable stay. The central location also made it really easy to explore Glasgow. I had a truly lovely stay, would absolutely come back, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
