Smiths Hotel

The rest of the hotel staff were lovely, kind and very professional. Unfortunately, the morning receptionist was unprofessional. He spoke as if shouting and didn’t let me respond. The way he dealt with guests wasn’t appropriate.

My room had loads of bed bugs, and I found many of them myself. Now I’m using cream and tablets to get my skin back to normal. The building is very old inside, and the staff were rude and disrespectful, with no manners. It felt like they only cared about the money. The manager was disrespectful too, and the boss had no manners. This place is disgusting, with zero service and zero management. Sleeping on the street would be cleaner and safer.

I called to dispute a payment, but the “laundry” boy kept telling me the manager wasn’t available and hung up on me over and over.

My wife is pregnant, and our son was with us in room 40. The council placed us at this hotel temporarily while they look for a house. We had the worst night, one we won’t forget. I killed more than 50 bed bugs that kept appearing on the bed every couple of minutes, and they were on the walls too. We couldn’t sleep at all. I took some pictures before killing them.
