The Busby Hotel

The best hotel service we've had anywhere in the world came from the Busby team when we held our wedding there on 14th May 26. Megan, our wedding planner, was brilliant, as were the bar staff, reception, housekeeping, and waiters and waitresses. Rebecca was fabulous too. Everyone went out of their way for us.

The room looked stunning, and the buffet was delicious for our daughter's 21st at the Busby. All the staff were lovely and helpful, especially Stephen and the bar team, who took such good care of us that evening. Highly recommend.

Our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was and how good the dinner and buffet tasted. We agree, the food was delicious, and the day went by without a hitch. Connor and Rebecca kept us updated, made sure our vendors were sorted, and left me feeling relaxed because I knew things were being handled. They were outstanding. We'd stayed the night before and had a family meal, which was fantastic, with top-notch food and service. Connor from the wedding team came over, introduced himself, and helped us feel at ease. We'd also had a few family lunches and dinners after booking, and Carter's food was always beautiful. Never had a bad meal, and the staff were lovely. The honeymoon suite is stunning, and it was one of the things that won us over. I wish we'd been able to stay in it the night after the wedding and use the facilities, so we'll have to book again to enjoy it properly. We got married here on 17.20.25, and working with The Busby Hotel was amazing from our first viewing. Megan was supportive from the start, never pushy, and always there to answer our questions. Thank you, Megan. Thanks to everyone for making the day so special. I'd love to do it all again. We'll be back for food or an overnight stay. Customers for life.

I found the hotel online and stayed midweek for work. The reception staff gave me a lovely warm welcome, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was spacious and clean, with a decent mattress that made for a good night's sleep. The ensuite was modern and tidy, and the walk-in shower had plenty of power to wake me up. Carter's, attached to the hotel, is a contemporary bar and restaurant with a great range of beers and wines. The menu mixes pub favourites like fish and chips and the house burger with bistro dishes such as moules and seabass. Everything was cooked well, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and serve people. It was busy even early in the week, and I couldn't fault anything. Give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
