We both had steaks and really enjoyed the meal. My partner chose the peppercorn sauce when asked which sauce we'd like, and it was delicious. We weren't happy to find it had been charged as an extra, though. That affected the tip we left. Staff should ask whether we'd like to add a sauce at extra cost, rather than make us assume it comes with the meal.

The food was amazing, and the Clachan house sauce made with whisky and Haggis was an incredible addition to the steak. We ordered Haggis Bon Bons as a starter, then Lamb Rump and Ribeye. Sauces cost extra. We came for our anniversary, and it was the best meal I've had so far on this trip. We didn't book a table, though reservations are definitely recommended. Luckily, the bar serves the same food on a first-come, first-served basis, and we found a table there.

The toilets were perfectly clean, and the atmosphere was just right. The staff were sincerely kind and the food was wonderful. Brilliant place, and the best Scottish restaurant I've tried so far.

After a long drive, we found this cosy pub while passing through. There was free parking nearby, a warm welcome, open fires and lovely cosy surroundings. The two gentlemen behind the bar looked after me well and recommended the sticky toffee pudding. It was the best I've had. There's a great selection of whisky too. I'll definitely be back, thank you.

The restaurant has a really unique, cosy atmosphere, but the service wasn't very good. I really liked the Haggis and would recommend it. The steak pie and macandcheese weren't as good. The bar might be a better choice.
