The Orchard Park Hotel

The busy road outside got pretty noisy in the mornings, and the room only had one power socket, tucked under the desk. Those were the downsides. The rest worked really well for me during four long, hard days of work. I ate dinner at the hotel every night because the food was so good, and the included breakfast had loads to choose from, including cereal, a Scottish fry-up and a natural yoghurt fruit bowl. They even managed to fit me in for a third night when the job ran longer than expected. The hotel basically gave me a bed, meals and laundry, so I didn’t need to go anywhere else.

The staff were so friendly and nothing seemed to be a bother. Our room was compact but very comfortable, with a super comfy bed and a good ensuite. Breakfast was great too. A very nice hotel, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere good on Glasgow’s South Side.

The food was brilliant, and Fraser’s service really stood out. He was the best waiter we’ve had in a long time.

We came from Yorkshire for a family funeral, and this hotel has a special place in our family’s hearts. It lived up to that affection. The location was fantastic for visiting family, and the hotel and rooms were spotless. We loved the food and the breakfast, which is included in the room price and has something for every taste. There’s a lively pub attached, but we heard no noise in the rooms. Lots of amenities are nearby, and getting into Glasgow centre is easy. Everyone on staff was lovely and happy to help. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend it for business or a holiday. Thank you, Team Orchard Park.
