Haydn House - B&B

I’ve stayed in both the Abbey View Suite and Orchid Rooms, and both are clean, spacious and have handy kitchenettes. I prefer the Abbey View, which gives you a little more room and a view over the Abbey wall. Charlie always makes sure we’re comfortable and enjoying our stay, and he’s a great source of tips on what to see, eat and shop for. We’ve stayed with him many times over the past few years. Haydn House is ideally placed for exploring Glastonbury, and I’d gladly recommend it.

This was our second stay at Haydn House, and Charlie made us feel welcome again. The rooms are thoughtfully arranged, very comfortable and clean, with everything needed for a restful visit. It’s on a quiet street with a car park nearby, but only a short stroll from the town centre. We plan to book again.

As someone travelling alone, feeling safe and secure matters, and Haydn House gives me that. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the location is central while still being on a quiet street. I’ve loved my stays here and have another one coming up soon. Charlie is friendly, easy to communicate with and makes you feel at ease. I’m looking forward to being back.

Charlie is a wonderful host, helpful, full of useful information and so welcoming that he makes you feel like family. We came from Toronto, Canada, and we’re still talking about our long Easter weekend in Glastonbury and at Haydn House. Our room had an amazing view of the Abbey, which I loved waking up to with the birds each morning. It was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with plenty of counter space. Tea, coffee, fresh water and a mini fridge were just right for our stay. Haydn House is an easy walk to High Street, pubs, independent shops, bakeries and restaurants. Thanks, Charlie, for making the weekend so special.
