Breakfast in the shared kitchen was fresh, organic and really tasty. The house is central but peaceful, and its historic character gives it a lovely feel. Our room was clean, spacious enough to relax in, and the beds were comfortable. We had a really nice stay at the Moon in the Apple Tree. Julie and Tor are caring hosts who make you feel at ease. Tor can take you to sacred places in the West of the country, and Julie has thoughtful advice on herbalism and medicinal plants. A cosy little nest in one of England's liveliest towns.

The setting is wonderful, and the hosts are extraordinary. Breakfast each morning included a cooked meal plus fruit, grains and oats, with whatever breakfast drink we wanted. The hand-ground coffee was rocket fuel! My father has booked again, and I'd be very happy to join you too. It was a pleasure staying with you.

It's only a short walk to town, the shops and a supermarket, which was a real bonus. We were warmly welcomed at Moon in the Apple Tree, slept well in a comfortable bed, and enjoyed the tasty breakfast and coffee. We'd happily stay again.

The bathroom was a little snug, though clean, and the room was tidy and clean too. Breakfast was healthy and filling, and the coffee was awesome. Hopefully they'll sell some in future. The dog was very friendly and playful. I'll come again!

The bed was comfortable and the host couple were pleasant, but the room felt quite bare and the bathroom facilities were poor. I didn't like the lack of privacy, since this is someone's home. We looked into other accommodation on the first night, but we'd already booked and moving would have been expensive. I won't stay again or recommend it.
