The room was clean and tidy, but the stay didn't work for me. I booked Room #3, their single, while travelling alone. It was tiny, probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in, and I didn't think it was worth the price. I also felt unwelcome when I asked at the Willows if I could eat my takeaway lunch in the dining room. The owner said it might smell, so I ended up eating outside on the curb. At checkout, I was told paying for the room by credit card would mean an extra service charge. I used the same card at several B&Bs, restaurants and hotels on this trip, and none charged more than the listed price. To me, that fee is part of the cost of doing business. They don't get it.

The breakfast was really good, and the rooms were great too. The staff were lovely. Highly recommended.
