Spalite Hotel

The thoughtful touches made us feel right at home, especially the fresh milk in the fridge and the generous supply of tea and coffee. Our room was immaculate and carefully maintained. We travelled from Barcelona to explore the area, and our one night at Spalite Hotel was lovely and one we'll remember fondly. From the moment we arrived, our host welcomed us warmly and set the tone for a memorable stay. Spalite Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't recommend it highly enough for a short or longer visit to Gloucestershire. An 11 out of 10 experience for us.

A great value stay, with a clean, well-equipped room and plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was great value too. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. There's no parking on site, but I found a spot nearby without any trouble.

I needed somewhere at short notice, and they really saved me when everywhere else was closed or full. The owner welcomed me at 23:30 on a Tuesday and gave me the family suit at a discounted price since I was on my own. It was comfortable and neat, and I was offered breakfast, though I had to leave early. They even provided a phone charger and fast WiFi. Some of the best hospitality I've had in a while. I'll definitely return.

The staff were super lovely, and the hotel is just across the street from the Quay and within walking distance of the train station. The town has almost nothing nice, but this hotel is great. Of the hotels and B&Bs I've stayed in over the past few weeks, this was the nicest. My room was very clean, with soft towels, a good bathroom fan, a fridge with fresh milk, and a view of the side garden.
