The cottage was lovely and warm, even with snow and wintry weather outside. It’s tastefully decorated, with a well equipped kitchen, and works well for either a short break or a longer stay. We enjoyed being able to walk into Cartmel and further afield from there. Our host was attentive and helpful, and had left prosecco and snacks for us when we arrived. It’s suitable for furry friends too. We’ll definitely return.

We had a gorgeous little break here. The cottage was easy to find, with lovely decor and updated facilities, and the location suited me and my partner perfectly. There are local walks, or you can drive easily to the main Lake District spots for a more demanding trek. We’ll stay again.

We slept even better than we do at home. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, plus more. The decor and the quality of the furnishings felt five star. Cartmel is a beautiful village, and we’ll be back soon.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful break at Little Wren. The accommodation was picture perfect and the location lovely. It was simply stunning, just what we wanted, and we’d return in a heartbeat.

This was our second stay at the Little Wren, and we loved it from beginning to end. The peaceful setting and location suited us perfectly with a dog in tow. The bed was comfy, the decor lovely, and the cooking facilities, TV and bathroom were all great. We arrived to a bottle of rose prosecco and treats for us and our dog. Already looking forward to booking again.
