The kitchen was superb, the bed very comfortable, and the large shower and reclining sofa were great. We had a fantastic three-night stay at pippin lodge, which was well equipped with quality items. It was about a 20-minute walk into Cartmel's square, where the shops and pubs were great and friendly.

Clean and nice, and cosy after a long walk.
