We had no complaints about the house, and the owners had it ready for our holiday with a welcome pack waiting for us. It’s a large, clean place with very comfortable beds, a fireplace and a pool table for rainy days. There are lots of places to walk nearby, and Windermere is about 25 minutes away. The main road is only five minutes from the house.

There's plenty to do around this peaceful, beautiful spot, whether you want to walk up to the crag and try the bolted routes by the cave, head to the limestone cliffs, or hire a bike next door. Indoors, there are lots of books and games, including chess, Scrabble, Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit. The place is light and spacious, with comfortable, generously sized beds. One thing to be aware of, the pool table needs repair or replacement, though the table football was in perfect condition. We all enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us in such a lovely part of England.

A spacious, nicely decorated cottage in a very peaceful spot, still within easy reach of attractions in the southern lakes. Excellent place, highly recommended.

There are lots of great routes nearby, and the spacious property has a games room and outdoor area that were perfect for the kids. Such a lovely place.
