We had such a good time at Hogmanay that we couldn’t wait to come back. Ravenscourt is a lovely family-run place in Grantown on Spey, with a warm welcome that makes you glad you came. The building is lovely inside and out, and there’s a relaxing lounge and an in-house bar. Rooms are very comfortable, and breakfast has a delicious range of food and coffee. The singer-guitarist night was fab and made the visit extra special. We also walked to the Old Spey Bridge, browsed the high street shops, and ate locally. A great wee trip all round.

Ravenscourt feels like a real part of the community, and we loved being included in the board games, coffee and cake/scone evening. We chatted late into the night and also enjoyed Zadock’s introduction to Scottish Whiskey and tasting. Corinne, Rob, Zadock and Eleanor were so welcoming. The guest house worked perfectly for our drive from Glenshee through the snow roads, and the next day’s trip to Cairngorm mountain. It’s also an easy walk into Grantown On Spey for the eateries, shops, and a chance for a blather. Rob served a tasty breakfast with plenty of choice to set us up for the day. Rob and Corinne make a fabulous team. We wish them well and hope to return.

We came from the Chicago area for our honeymoon, and the owners and their family went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The room, service, and FOOD were all amazing. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for lending us your rain jackets, you guys were the best!

The bar has a big selection of whisky, and breakfast had yummy options that were clearly locally sourced. We had a wonderful stay here during our honeymoon, and loved the cosy, ornate building, gorgeous lighting, very friendly hosts, and large, comfortable bedroom. They even left us a handwritten card, flowers, sparkling wine, and a homemade chocolate chip loaf. So sweet! There are three cats. I saw Minx outside, and the hosts said they usually keep the cats separate from guests in case of allergies. We’re definitely not allergic and love cats, so they introduced us to Loki. We only regret not asking about the amazing board game collection. They host a board game night, so we’ll have to come back.

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the potato scone, and the place is handy for both good walks and the local co-op. My room was immaculate, with thoughtful personal touches, and the family running it were easy to chat with. I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks, and hopefully see you again.
