Parking right outside was handy, and the beach isn’t far away. The b and b was very clean, the welcome was friendly, and breakfast was excellent. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

I had to push my trip back by two weeks because of a medical issue, and the host changed my dates without any fuss. I stayed for one night in July 2025, in a single ensuite room with the basics, including a hairdryee and mini fridge. The bed was surprisingly large for one person. The owner made a lovely breakfast, and his wife (I presume) was friendly too. I’d recommend Dene house to anyone visiting Gt Yarmouth.

The couple who run this lovely little b+b were so helpful and nice. My bed was really comfortable, and breakfast had an amazing range of choices. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the pier and the rest. I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you!

We felt at home with Martin and Stephanie, who were such good hosts. The cooked breakfast was excellent, and there was a generous choice of teas, coffee and hot chocolate, plus a coffee machine and pods. Our room was clean and good, though the shower tray needs replacing. We’d definitely book this bnb again if we return to Gt. Yarmouth. Many thanks to Martin and Stephanie for making us feel so welcome.

We usually book hotels, but after two nights at Dene House we’d happily pick a guest house again. It was peaceful, with a roomy bedroom and the most comfortable bed. The owners were welcoming, and all the little extras made it feel like home: toiletries, lots of towels and toilet roll, a hairdryer, fan, coffee machine, hot chocolate and other drinks. Breakfast was the best, with a big menu from cereal and waffles to a full cooked meal. The bus stop is only a five minute walk away. We enjoyed walking to the pier in about 20 minutes, taking the path through the beautiful waterways. I can’t recommend Dene House enough. They look like they get booked up, so book early. We’ll be back!
