Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and breakfast had a great range of options, ordered in advance to suit our needs. The hosts were really nice. We had a lovely stay, would recommend it and will visit again.

Morrisons is just a stone's throw away, and the Lodge is on a very quiet residential street. It's a short walk to the Venetian water gardens, which I'd highly recommend, and about 20 minutes on foot or five minutes by car to Britannia Pier. There's another pier and more to do further along, too. The owners were so friendly and chatty, and welcomed us at breakfast each morning. They couldn't have been more helpful: when they realised I use a stick to walk, they kindly moved us from the top floor we'd booked. Our room was meticulously clean and cosy, and the tasty breakfast set us up for the day. We were so happy with our stay and highly recommend Maluth Lodge.

The included breakfast was fantastic, and both the Lodge and our room were clean and comfortable. The shower was great, with plenty of pressure and hot water in seconds. Helen and Jeff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, and had lots of information about the area. The location is amazing: a short walk to a quiet beach, and a little farther to the main beach. If you're unsure about booking, just go for it. You won't be disappointed.

The whole building and my room were spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. As a solo traveller going away for the first time, I felt anxious at first, but I was made very welcome and felt safe and secure. Helen and Jeff are amazing hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend. I also got to meet the dog and rug rats 🤣🤣

The location is ideal for the beach, town and racecourse, and breakfast was superb, with great quality ingredients. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the hosts were fantastic. Having stayed ourselves, we can agree with the previous reviews and will definitely return. Thank you, Helen and Jeff, you were wonderful!
