Marina Beach House

Spotless and excellent. The sofa's really comfortable, though it'd be nice to have more comfortable seating than the two seats currently provided. Would recommend.

We came for a last-minute midweek night in February and were so glad we picked this place. It was easy to find, and I loved the keyless entry. Parking right outside was easy, though that may have been because February was quiet. There's also a large free car park behind the property if needed in summer. The best view was from the top floor. I woke up, opened the curtains and cracked the windows, then lay in bed looking out at the sea. Such a relaxing feeling. Downstairs, a big bedroom has patio doors onto the dunes and beach, but it was too cold for us to open them. I can imagine that being perfect in summer, especially for letting the kids loose on the beach. The bathroom was nicely decorated and had a shower. Upstairs, I spent most of my time looking at the sea from the Juliet balcony, even though the weather was grey and murky. The kitchen, diner and living room all had that amazing view, and the kitchen was well equipped with what you'd need. A little room with bunk beds leads off the kitchen, ideal for little ones. We loved our short stay and would like to come back. Absolutely recommend it, it's well worth it! 😊

The beach was clean, and a Land Rover ice cream seller was driving along it. Apparently the family have done that for years, and you wouldn't get a licence for it now. Pretty novel 🥳🥳🥳🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. I always seemed to find a parking space, nose in by the sea wall timbers. I'd never been down this road in all my years visiting GREAT Yarmouth. A nice little gem, with good neighbours next door who told us to try the Lifeboat station, NOT RNLI 🤩. Great breakfast there and fantastic people, too. There's a good pub down the road called the Turn back in the name, I believe. All good, give it a try, you'll like it 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Castor is a lovely, quiet beach, and it's an easy walk into Yarmouth. We had a really relaxing stay with great views, and the communication was helpful throughout. We'd definitely like to return. Only small gripes: a bigger fridge would be useful, and the blue sofa is uncomfortable because the seat is short.
