The Weatherdene

I'm staying here now and it's a beautiful guest house. Our room was clean apart from a dusty fan, and the mini fridge had a strange smell. I gave it five stars because the owner Georgia sent the cleaner to our room free of charge to check the fridge and clean the fan. She's going to pass the fridge issue on to the guest house owner. Everyone is very friendly. I'd probably stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

There was chewing gum all over the bed, stains on the sheets and pillows, and the beds were dirty. The place smelled really bad. We stayed in 7, 8 and 9. I wouldn't recommend it.

I had to cancel my week-long stay with my mum at the very last minute because of unforeseen circumstances. I contacted the host, who was outstanding in addressing my concerns and handling the situation professionally and to a high standard. It's a lovely little place in a great location, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The area was unpleasant, with locals shouting and arguing through the night, and the smell was disgusting. There was no one in the building, so you had to call if you had a question or problem. The photos are deceiving, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. Save your money. We came as a family expecting a clean place and found the opposite. The windows were dirty, with old hard gum stuck to the bed's headboard and marks on the sheets. We also found cockroaches behind the bed. For your safety and your family's, please don't come here. Everything about the place was disgusting.
