Stopped in for a little break after a walk at the lion brewery, Ash. The pint was crisp, served in an iced glass, and the place was beautiful, friendly, clean and full of memories. I didn’t order food, so can’t comment on that, though I’d assume it’s as good as the drinks. There are plenty of signs reminding drivers to register their car. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, come anyway.

Great garden for a sunny day, and a friendly landlord. The pint was the crispest and cleanest I’ve had in years. Worth the trip.

Don’t use this pub if you’re driving. I’ve just had a £100 car park charge come through the post, three weeks later. That was one expensive pint!
