We booked a table for seven tonight and had a lovely meal. The food was amazing and really good value, and the staff were so nice and helpful. The room had loads of character too. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommend it.

It was refreshing to stay somewhere traditional and independent instead of part of a chain. The hotel is well placed for exploring the Tay and Stanley Mills, and I liked all the angling details in the decor. The menu had more interesting options than the usual pub food, and everything we ate was delicious. Staff were friendly too.

The bar felt welcoming, with a jukebox and an unusual pool table, and the staff were lovely. Our room was on the older side but comfortable, and the price included breakfast. Dinner portions were massive, so don't order too much. We only stayed one night on the way home, but Tayside Hotel is a wee gem.

The bar service was great, everyone was super friendly, and the food was just what we needed after a full day skiing at glenshee. We stayed with my son in this traditional B&B. The rooms are old, but clean and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay.

The food was excellent, both at dinner and breakfast, and the staff knew their stuff and were very friendly. Even the locals in the bar were welcoming. It's an old fashioned place with loads of character. Some might say it looks a bit dated or tired, but for the price it was well worth staying. A great choice for fisherman, with local Gillies in the bar after work. I'll definitely use the Tayside again if I'm up that way.
