We had a lovely weekend in the self-catering cottage in the converted stable. It was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed, with gorgeous countryside nearby. Great value, too.

There are two pubs within walking distance if you fancy a meal, and they’re worth visiting. From the moment you step through the door, you’re made to feel welcome. The price doesn’t reflect how hospitable the place is. A real gem.

The location is quiet, the place is clean and really comfortable, and the host is wonderful. Best cooked breakfast ever, absolutely delicious.
