We’d liked the Fox when we’d stopped in for a drink before, so after starting our search for Christmas dinner in September, we booked there while staying in Guisborough over Christmas. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the day was absolutely fantastic. It was a chilled, family-friendly setting, and the food came when we were ready, so we didn’t feel rushed. Everything was tasty and homemade, and the portions were huge. We ordered two extra sides and could barely finish it all. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it made for such a wonderful day.

Two meals for 13 pounds, absolutely spot on! My partner had the steak pie and mash, and I got the tika masala. Both were very nice. The staff were friendly, the place was lovely, and a pint was £2.95. I forgot to save the photo I took.

A mate suggested the Fox when I was heading to Guisborough for work a few months ago and needed somewhere to stay. Good shout. Since then I’ve worked at different sites on Teeside and stayed at the Fox every time. Great staff, decent food at a great price, and a good range of drinks. What’s not to like?

I stayed at the Fox Inn for a wedding last week and had a wonderful time. Linda deserves a special mention for being incredibly welcoming and getting my room ready at such short notice. She rescued my whole day! The room was perfect, with a comfy bed and great facilities.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night’s sleep. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the team were cheerful, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. We had a lovely stay at The Fox Inn in Guisborough. It’s in a great location, with good food and friendly service, and we’d absolutely recommend it.
