I got up early and made good use of the footpaths to explore the area. It’s a beautiful setting with a lovely house. If country roads aren’t your usual drive, getting there might feel like an adventure, but follow the directions and you’ll be fine.

Eight of us stayed here for a weekend and had a nice time. Finding it in the dark was a little tricky. Google Maps was accurate right up to the last private road.

The house has a homely feel, spacious rooms and all the facilities we needed, including free WiFi. Christine and her Husband were incredibly welcoming and helpful hosts. We had an awesome weekend at Church Hill Farm, tucked away in Penallt, with spectacular views and such a secluded feel it seemed like we were alone for miles.
