Newbridge on Usk

The food was top quality, carefully presented and offered plenty of choice. The accommodation has a country style and is well appointed, in a beautiful spot on the banks of the Usk beside a single road bridge. It’s part of the Celtic Manor, whose full resort facilities you can use, though they’re about a 15-minute drive away.

Dinner, bed and breakfast made for a fabulous little hotel stay. The food was excellent, and both service and cleanliness were top notch. The rooms are beautifully furnished, each with its own style and everything needed for a comfortable visit. It’s a quiet country hotel with valley and river views, a short drive from Usk. Booking also gives you access to Celtic Manor Resort facilities, with a courtesy bus available if needed. Thank you.

We only went to the restaurant and didn’t stay in the rooms. The dishes were some of the best food we’ve had, with every one beautifully presented and top quality. Staff were professional, well presented, knowledgeable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

The room was spotless, the bed so comfortable, and we had a perfect night’s sleep. We stayed one night in September, were greeted by the loveliest host, and enjoyed a delicious roast. The food, room and wine were all just perfect, and every staff member was so friendly.
