I was disgusted enough to leave and spend the night at the Ibis budget five minutes away. It was cheaper and a thousand times better. The place smelled damp, there was nowhere to sit, and the room was tiny. The bed was tiny too, creaking whenever I breathed, and the mattress felt like it might as well not be there. The TV had almost no channels, and my phone screen was bigger. I arrived at 4pm with it -2 outside, and there was no heating on. The whole place, room included, was freezing. If you’re used to sleeping in a homeless hostel, you might love it. It may also suit people who are deaf, blind, can’t smell, have narcolepsy and like wearing lots of clothes. You were warned.

The room was warm, the shower was good and there was free WiFi. The bedding and towels smelled freshly laundered, and the room was clean, though a little run down. There’s a good sized free car park, and we got a warm, kind welcome when we arrived.

Just the thing for contractors’ digs, really. Nothing fancy. The room’s clean, but the bed’s a bit old and tired, a bit like me! There’s a big car park, handy if you’ve got a van, and it’s a five-minute walk to the first pub in town, Lloyd's 1 bar. 👍

Dust was everywhere, the carpet was stained, and the room smelled of smoke and old clothes. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was disgusting, and I wasn’t sure the linen was clean, so I put a towel underneath me. I was itchy all night.

A quiet stay and a good night’s sleep. The hotel was nice, the staff friendly, and the room clean with a decent shower. Off-road parking was a bonus, and the shopping centre nearby means there are plenty of places to eat.
