The downstairs bedroom and wet room worked really well for anyone with limited mobility, and the cottage had everything we needed. It was so quiet, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to Abergavenny and lots of lovely places to visit. Keith, the owner, was helpful and friendly, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved waking up to the views each morning, and it was a great spot for stargazing. We absolutely loved our stay.

The property has lovely views and is well placed for Pen Y Fan and Sugar Loaf. It’s nice, and the ground floor is very accessible for wheelchair users. There were quite a lot of flies inside, possibly because it was summer and the place is in the countryside. The beds had no mattress protectors, some doors wouldn’t shut properly, and the uneven stairs felt a little dangerous.

The railway carriage was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the stunning views and wildlife, and the fire pit was great in the evening. It was a really peaceful, relaxing stay.

The owner was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed about nearby places to visit. Our cottage was spotless, tidy, spacious, and in perfect condition. It’s in a wonderful spot on a hill, with amazing views over Abergavenny and the surrounding mountains.

Keith, the landlord, is a star. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, with lovely views. Just be aware that the fridge-freezer description isn’t accurate, as there’s only a larder fridge with an ice-making compartment. Recommended.
