A lovely dog-friendly hotel. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and our pup even got a doggy breakfast.

Gail really knows how to keep things upbeat and make the stay pleasant. I loved the atmosphere, which brought a sense of comfort and peace, and it felt like a country retreat with lovely views of hills and trees. It was a short walk into Abergavenny for dinner, then a taxi back after a drink. This quaint but spacious guest house has become the regular stop I needed for future trips to Wales. I'd recommend a summer visit to see the blossom and enjoy the Welsh atmosphere. The hospitality was great and the attention to detail showed in every area. The beds were comfortable, the private bathroom was clean, the staff were very friendly and breakfast was great. It's a characterful property, about a 10-15 minute walk into town, uphill from Abergavenny. I stayed in the twin room, number 2, which was very small and had no storage, so it wouldn't suit a longer stay.

The breakfasts were lovely for us and the dog, with plenty of delicious choices. Gail and Tanya made us feel especially welcome, and they treated our dog as if it were their own. We had a wonderful three-night stay. It felt like home.

Easy to walk into town, and the accommodation was great. We had a top-notch stay for three nights, including really good breakfasts.
