Belle Grove

This building has since been sold and is now a private residence. My original review follows for educational purposes and historical reference. Griffin lodge was privately owned and part of Belle Grove farms, which also has Belle Grove barns, a similarly spectacular group of self-catering units in converted barns. The farmhouse had wonderful living spaces, luxurious bathrooms and beautiful decor shaped by a lifetime of travel around the world, mostly in Africa. Old oak beams, rustic floors and doors, gothic features from who knows where, and lovely woodwork from the far east made it truly special and unique. It was available to hire on Air B n B and worked well for small groups and larger families.
