Blyth Lodge B&B

Having breakfast in the garden was a lovely start to the day, and the quiet setting made for a really restful stay. Our hostess was so welcoming and nothing felt like too much trouble. The bedroom was spotless and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and sparkling, and we were grateful to use the guest kitchen and fridge. Thank you, we hope to return.

We were in Suffolk to see relatives and brought our dog along for our first B&B stay. Chris made us feel at home straight away, and by the time we left we’d got on really well. The room was pleasant, the bed very comfortable, and Chris’s breakfasts were very good. We’d almost certainly choose Blyth Lodge again if we’re back in that part of the world.

Chris is a fabulous host, and the garden was lovely and peaceful. It’s a really quiet, convenient spot for work. The bed was enormous, which I loved. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices, though nothing was hot apart from the porridge.

Chris was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome, and she suggested some lovely places to visit. We had our dog with us, so it was great that she brought breakfast to our room. There wasn’t a cooked breakfast, but there was plenty to choose from: cereals, toast, yoghurt, fruit juice, fruit salad and pastries. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely stay. We’d happily stay again if we’re in the area.
