We keep coming back because the staff are so friendly and make us feel welcome. For our family lunch we chose from the a la carte menu, and the whole experience was fabulous. The chef’s tasty, inventive dishes never disappoint, and there’s a well balanced wine selection to go with them.

I’ve been to The Silver Cup before with my husband and with family, and this time I came with friends. Liv and the team made the evening especially memorable, with a friendly, professional approach that showed how much pride they take in their work. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. The drinks selection was impressive and paired wonderfully with the meal, adding to the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it.

My brother strongly recommended the Silver Cup for lunch, and I’m glad we went. The staff welcomed us warmly and were friendly and attentive throughout. We enjoyed our drinks and the option to order high quality food to share. The pork chop we shared for our main was beautifully cooked, and the sides were delicious too. I’m looking forward to going back.

The Valentine's Day set lunch was delicious, and the presentation was amazing. The service was brilliant too. They explained all the dishes and gave us recommendations for wines. Definitely worth a visit, and we’ll come back another time.

The staff were friendly and the food was good, though the beef croquette felt like it was trying to do too much with the dill and truffle. I was there for Sunday lunch, and the dance music felt out of place with the vibe. I liked some of the songs, just not at 12.30 on a Sunday in harpenden 😂
