The setting made the stay for us: peaceful and tucked away by the loch, with lovely moorland and sheep that kept us curious. It helped us overlook how small the accommodation was, which is why we gave it 4 stars. Still, it was very clean and well-equipped. The size felt too cramped for us as septuagenarians, and during that very cold early April spell, wind came through the little window above the bed. Brrr!
