We found the staff attentive throughout our stay without ever feeling hovered over, and the reception had useful things like sanitary products, sewing kits and dental kits. Hotel du Vin Harrogate is right in the heart of town, about ten minutes on foot from the train station and five from the high street. Our room was spacious, quiet, spotless and very comfortable, an easy place to unwind after a day out. The shower and bath both had exceptional water pressure, which was a real highlight.

Even in winter, we had a lovely time at Hotel du vin and would happily come back. Adrian went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the centre, parking is excellent, and there are lots of lovely places to eat.

We’ve been twice in the past year and plan to return. The staff are friendly and helpful, and dog-friendly rooms are available. It’s right in central Harrogate, with parking just outside, but remember to book ahead.

The room was large, with a lovely bath and shower, and the location is great. But it could use some updating and maintenance. Masking tape holding up the fan looked pretty ugly. We were on the first floor in a deluxe room, and the walls are very thin. We heard doors slamming around us and people walking overhead, so bring earplugs.

I booked at the last minute for a one-night business trip, and the hotel still chose a lovely room for me. It was exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail, especially on such short notice. I really enjoyed the stay, would happily return and recommend the hotel.
