We stayed in the Master ‘Piece’ room, and it looked just like the pictures. It was clean, with a really comfortable bed, a powerful shower, and WiFi that worked well. The view was brilliant, and the location is great, right opposite the beach and just minutes from shops, arcades, pubs, and restaurants. Getting in was easy with the coded main door. Parking is the only issue, though that’s nothing to do with the owners of this beautifully kept building. We’ll definitely return.

We had two spotless rooms and found check-in and checkout easy. Communication was great, and they replied quickly. The location in the old town is perfect. Getting to our rooms meant climbing stairs, though, and the steep climb to the top floor was a struggle. I’d read about the stairs in the information, but hadn’t expected them to be quite so steep.

We had a good night’s sleep despite staying in the attic during a heatwave. The room got remarkably hot, but having a fan and being able to open the window made it bearable. The low ceiling took some getting used to, and the smoke alarm was in a spot where you’re likely to bump into it. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and handy fridge. It’s right on the seafront, and I enjoyed watching the weekend activity outside, especially as Hastings can be lively, yet nights were surprisingly quiet. I’d stay again.

The location near the old town was great, and I’d stay there again. Just be aware that it isn’t accessible for disabled people, as steep stairs lead up to the rooms. Check-in takes place inside the chip shop downstairs.
