The new restaurant is great, and the hotel has started refurbishing. Connor cooked my mixed grill perfectly and presented it beautifully. He also checked that guests were enjoying their food, and you could tell the experience mattered to him. Sam looked after me really well in the restaurant after a busy workday. His service felt personal and sincere. I stayed a couple of nights for business, and the welcome at arrival and service throughout were brilliant. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I slept well. The hotel is in a very convenient spot for work in this area. Excellent food and customer service.

We spent the weekend here to join family for a birthday. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast gets 8/10, with a good selection and good quality. The staff were all friendly, especially Theresa, who took extra care of our little family. Thank you! The room decor could do with a refresh, and an ashtray by the entrance would be appreciated 😉

It's a standard Premier Inn, so you know what you're getting. The room seemed fine and the staff were friendly, though there was a bit of a wait. The corridor just before our room smelled pretty strongly of cigarette smoke, which was the only downside for us.

The bath was filthy. There was a thick ring of scum, a clump of hair in the plughole, and loose hairs around the taps and on the basin. It all wiped away with soapy water, so it seemed fairly recent, not built up over time. If the bath hadn't even been wiped down, it makes me wonder what else was missed when the room was cleaned.
