Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and being able to head out for walks right from the front door. This lovely cottage sits just outside Hawick in beautiful countryside, with loads to see and do nearby. It felt like a little slice of paradise.

The hosts were super and managed to fit us in at the last minute. We found a cozy, spacious home from home, with everything we needed, and it was clean and comfortable. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot, and the enclosed garden was perfect for our old dog to wander around.

The photos online really don’t show how lovely this cottage is. It’s a perfect little piece of paradise, far enough from town to feel tucked away but near enough if you need something. The owners were friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend.

We’ve been back for a second stay in six months, which says plenty. The place is clean and comfortable, quiet out in the countryside, and only five minutes from Hawick. Dogs are welcome too.
