Just a short walk from the centre of Hay-on-Wye, this cottage is lovely and peaceful. It was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom. The folder had loads of information about the local area and beyond. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Lynda and Chris, THANKYOU!!
The cottage was impeccably clean and perfectly located. Lynda was so helpful, and the little basket of treats made us feel very welcome during our short stay.
Our 5yr old daughter loved the comfy bed and watching sheep graze nearby. The hosts were very helpful and even provided a useful app. The spotless cottage had everything we needed, including a detailed guide to the area, and felt cosy throughout. It's close to the town centre and main supermarket, yet tucked away on a quiet side road without traffic noise. There's a stream nearby on the edge of Hay, and parking is ample and clearly marked. One of the best places we've stayed as a family, thoroughly recommend.
Lynda shared lots of useful information, and the cottage was a very comfortable base for visiting Hay on Wye. The location is lovely, with a charming garden backing onto a babbling brook, and it's an easy walk into town. Highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful four-night stay. Lynda left delicious snacks and was easy to reach if we needed anything. The cottage was comfortable and extremely well appointed, in a lovely quiet spot just a five-minute walk from Hay-on-Wye. Highly recommended.
